The exhibition is located in the main congress hall.
I) SOLINST CANADA
Solinst Canada Ltd. has been manufacturing high quality groundwater instrumentation since 1980 when company president Doug Belshaw recognized the need for innovative and easy-to use instrumentation for the growing hydrogeology field.
First Solinst introduced its Model 101 Water Level Meter for hydrogeologists in the United States. The sturdy design, stretch-resistant tape and special markings in feet and tenths of feet (now 1/100 ft) proved ideal. The Meter gained in popularity and soon became the Water Level Meter of choice for American groundwater monitoring.
Since then hard work, listening to our customers, and thinking creatively has enabled Solinst to flourish. We now offer a broad range of innovative and practical equipment, used by both hydrogeologists and hydrologists around the world. The range still features Water Level Meters, but has expanded into dataloggers, telemetry, Interface Meters, Drive-Points, Samplers and Multilevel Systems.

Hydrogeology consultancy, groundwater modelling and borehole surveys. CSD is based in the “water castle” Switzerland and employs numerous hydrogeologists, not least its president Olga Darazs, who is present at the congress in Davos. Hydrogeological assessments and consultations, groundwater assessments and modelling as well as borehole investigations (by Polymetra, a subsidiary of the CSD Group) are part of its services.
Let’s shape the future – with an intact environment and a good quality of life. Early planning reduces the environmental impact on people and nature. Therefore, CSD advises its customers for example on measures to be taken against natural hazards, noise, vibrations, pollutants, risks, and global warming. The company is also dedicated to improving the quality of life for the people using its realised solutions.
Continuous improvement and ecological certification Through its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, CSD aspires to excellence and continuous improvement in economic and ecological terms. In addition, CSD has been a certified EcoEnterprise since 2007.

- Our main tools are robust methodologies for handling uncertainty and sophisticated, large scale, 3D discontinuum models.
- We work with you to manage and evolve your design from concept to implementation, by assisting you to quantify your uncertainty at each step and solve problems as they arise.
- We help extractive industries with complex decision making, where hydro or geotechnical risks might affect the bottom line.
- We believe in total transparency, collaboration and sufficiency.
- Our teams of experienced field engineers and applied mechanics engineers work together within your team of engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, seismologists and field scientists to help you achieve your technical and operational objectives.
- Our reliable physics based simulations integrate with your operations: We build rock and hydro mechanical simulations that make fewer assumptions, incorporate more of your measured data, and better match field observations to improve forecast resolution.

4) SIMULTEC
Simultec stands for expertise in hydrogeology and computer science. Our Water Information System (WIS) combines and links databases, model calculations and data visualizations in a uniform online platform that can be tailored to the specific needs of our customers. We apply state-of-the-art groundwater models on local or regional scales to tackle a wide range of groundwater-related questions. The focus of our work lies on groundwater management of industrial sites and landfills, flood protection, river restoration, thermal use of groundwater, dimensioning of drainage systems, climate change scenarios and designation of protections zones for drinking water wells. Depending on the type of problem, our simulations include i.a. 2D or 3D transient flow, coupled contaminant and/or heat transport, variably saturated flow conditions and river-groundwater interactions. In addition to groundwater-related simulations, Simultec also works on various other topics like surface water modeling, wind modeling, contaminated sites investigations and climate protection projects.
Founded in 1988 as a spin-off of Electrowatt Engineering AG, Simultec AG initially started out in the field of power plant construction. In 1995 the company was restructured and moved to Zurich. Here, the focus of Simultec shifted to groundwater modeling for industrial customers. Since then, our area of activity and customer base have been steadily expanded. Already in 1996, we implemented a first internet-based water management information system for one of our customers. In 2013 we developed a Groundwater Energy Management (GEM) Tool for the Canton of Zurich. In 2015, all shares of Simultec were taken over by our employees. By 2024, the number of employees has risen to nine engineers and scientists. Today, our customer base ranges from industry over the public sector to geologists and environmental consultants. We are active internationally with projects in Germany, Austria, Spain, South Africa and South America.

7) IFLUX
In a world where only a small portion of our water is suitable for consumption, groundwater plays a crucial role.
iFLUX brings visibility to groundwater dynamics, enabling insights for evidence-based groundwater management. We have designed patented groundwater sampling technology (iFLUX Samplers) to track groundwater contamination. The iFLUX Samplers enable faster and more cost-efficient remediation projects, by measuring groundwater and contaminant movement over time.
iFLUX Sensing Solutions combine leading commercial sensors and external data with unique vertical and horizontal flux sensors, creating the most effective real-time digital monitoring networks. These groundwater monitoring networks translate secured data into concrete, real-time insights on a personalized dashboard, allowing the immediate detection of the influence of groundwater-related activities, and trends.
iFLUX was founded in 2017. It is an academic spin-off based on research of Dr. Goedele Verreydt, postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp and VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research).
