Poster presentations

Poster session and poster pitch
- The poster session takes place in two parts Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday.
- Poster presenters have the opportunity to give a one-minute/one-slide presentation (poster pitch) in the session to draw attention to their poster. The slide has to be provided as PDF (1 slide format landscape 16:9) and uploaded by September 4th midnight Swiss Time on www.iah2024davos.org/posterpitch. Avoid putting the entire poster on the slide. Rather illustrate why your research is important and interesting.
- The file name has to be as follows: XXX_YYYYYY_Presenter.pdf with XXX=Session number without dot (e.g. 107 for session 1.07), YYYYYY=Contribution ID, Presenter=family name of registered presenter.
- The larger sessions have two poster pitch periods.
- Poster presenters are asked to be at their poster after giving their pitch:
- Poster pitch at the end of the morning -> Presence from 12:45-13:25 at poster (there is a food buffet in the poster area)
- Poster pitch at the end of the first afternoon block -> Presence from 15:30-16:10 at poster (there is coffee and refreshments in the poster area)
- Poster pitch after the first morning block (Friday only) -> Presence from 10:30-11:10 at poster (there is coffee and refreshments in the poster area)
Poster space and setting up posters
- The poster session will make use of printed poster. Please bring along your poster. There is backup print service in Davos, which has however limited capacity.
- The available space corresponds to 100cm (horizontal) x 140cm (vertical). A A0 printout will fit well.
- Poster can exclusively be attached with Tesa Powerstrips/Posterkleber which are available in the poster area and at the information desk.
- A section of the poster exhibition is attributed to each session indicated by a range of poster board numbers (e.g. Session 1.03; Poster boards 112-119) according to the table. The first digit of the session board number corresponds to the first digit of session number. Hang your poster in the next free spot in the corresponding section.
